So i like when the scale is my friend. I weighed in at 165 which is 7 pounds down. It does work to track your calories I wasn't doing that the last time and I actually gained weight. I haven't noticed any of my old clothes fitting yet, so there's still a lot of work to be done.
It's been just about 6 weeks and I have already been through some ups and downs. My hope was to walk several miles every day this summer, but my knees just wouldn't let me, so I hopped on the exercise bicycle instead. I wanted to eat "clean" and watch calories, but my blood sugar was just getting too high with all those carbs so I readjusted the diet to low carb, but am still tracking the calories.
I'm just not going to give up this time. I love reading the success stories on Spark because I can relate to them. A lot of people have problems worse than mine, and they overcome them.
Makes me think "okay if they can do it I sure can" I love reading about your successes!
So I'm not done but I do appreciate my scale being nice to me today. Maybe I will buy it some chocolate-just kidding. 5 more pounds to make my goal, and then I will set another one.
