Sleep would be nice

Sleeping is such a privilege these days. School, work, kids and the Husband. I would love to sleep for 8 hours two days in a row. My eye's won't even stay shut after 7am. Working out as often as I am is helping some, but there is only so much my body can do on 6 hours of sleep.
The effect is odd. My body can keep going all day long. But, my brain is fuzzy if that makes any sense.
I so desperately wanted a sweet yesterday, and my brain just kept telling me go to work, go to work and for some reason I just kept walking to the pantry cabinet. So I broke down and had a large slice of angel food cake. It did the job and I went back to working on my project.
I need like a week long vacation. Just as the vaca is over that's when you just start to relax.
For now I'll just keep plugging away.

Food intake for 06/21/10
Cup of Coffee
Ft long Veggie Delite from Subway
handful and a half of honey roasted almonds
large slice of angel food cake
handful of dark chocolate chips
10 chicken Mcnugguts
1/2 small french fry
3 pint glass' of water

Not the best day, but at least I woke up this morning so I could try to make today a better day then yesterday.

    I know what you mean about the body working but the brain just steps out on you. Maybe that's why I had such a rough day at work. :)

A couple of hard days

Today is Monday. I have not blogged for a few days. The weekend was crazy. My husband and I decided on Sat. in the morning to have a parents day picnic on Sunday evening. So I went shopping for everything Sat. afternoon, I went home tried to squeeze a workout in, and then my father calls me and tells me he locked himself out of his car and he needs me to come get him, take him home and then back to the car, and of course I had to be at work in 45 min. Work out over did the running around with him. 1hr 15min later I was at work.
After working all night long I got up on Sunday morning and started cleaning house. I was tired and busy.
I decided to take a pause for the cause. I went for an hour long walk. It totally rejuvenated me. I was ready to go. After the walk I busted out the rest of the house work. Started organizing outside and we were all over it.
It's amazing how using that much energy gave me more energy. Yah working out.

Food intake,
today was all bad
15 cream puff
bowl of raspberries
large bowl of special K
Whole milk with cereal
2 pint glass' of water

Large bowl of Special K
Whole milk
Handful of fish
Hot dog w/ketchup and relish
2 bites of potato salad
3/4 Hienikin Beer
Glass of tea
chips and salsa

I love Dr. Oz. He always has something on there that I can use. Today he had the rule of 7. I follow a good bit of what he says.
I'm having a problem with my mother. She is having chest pains. We have been to the MD's. They say she is not having a heart attack. All her tests look good. No blood clots. Nothing like that. They want her to be admited to the hospital but she doesn't want to do that. She's a nurse. Not clowing on nurses, but if you have a nurse for a family member or are a nurse you know how hard you are to wait on mediacally. You would think she would understand the importance of what's going on with herself, but Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Anyway, back to Dr. Oz. I DVR him almost everyday. My mother and I watched a marathon of Dr. Oz' today. We took notes and hopfully will be implimenting some of his suggestions into her life.
Of course I'm a little stressed out about the hole mom situation. My working out helps. I'm tired but in a good way.
Just have to keep on keeping on.

1/2 plate of large nachos from Denny's
3/4 bacon cheese burger
small order of season fries
Large Ice tea
4 pint glass' of water

  I love Dr. Oz too. I like how he features real people, the struggles they face as they live their lives poorly and how his resources help to turn around their lifestyles. Bring on more Dr. Oz.

Yesterday another busy day in Dee Town. I went to school for a few hours in the morning and then I went to work around 10am. After work I went back to school. I tried going out to lunch with my Husband but that didn't work very well. My food was gross and I refuse to eat anything that doesn't taste fabulous. I didn't get home until after 7:30pm. So of course there went my walk. No one was home yet so I thought I would blast so high energy music and lift some weights. I sweat, got my heart rate up it was great. All for about 25 min.
Today my abs are SORE!!!!!!!! I had a blast.

Food intake for 06/16/2010
2 cups of coffee
5 bits of a turkey club sanwich
Yougart and granola
2 mini chocolate covered grham crackers
3/4 of a super chicken burrito
4 pints of water


Busy day!

It was crazy yesterday. I didn't go to school yesterday morning. I went to a meeting and then the hubbie and I took the littleist one to six flags. We have season pass' I did work out though.

Food intake for 06/15/10
Brad size cup of coffee (3 cups)Fair Size slice of Brownie
Tuna Sandwich
Handfull of Chips
10 Chicken Nuggets
Small French Fry
Cup and a half of Rocky Road Ice Cream
2 pint glass' of water

I didn't sweat that much when I worked out.
