Well- I had a horrible weekend. Family woes, work stress, and everything else rolled into a ball. Emotional eating ruled my weekend. Pizza, chips, ice cream... it all went into my body. Who knows where it stayed.
Not only do I feel horrible psychologically, but I feel so extremely sluggish! Tomorrow is a new day and I get to start over. I guess forgeting the past weekend is the way to go, but I am afraid that once I start with emotional eating that I won't be able to stop. Then, I will just feel so extremely guilty. I am not sure where to go or what to do.
The plan is to workout in the morning, go to school, go to work and just start over. Yup, starting fresh. Yup, ugh I need to go to sleep.

So today was my first workout after my surgery on the 21st. I ran 2.5 miles on the treadmill non-stop. I was pretty proud of that considering I have been laid up for 9 days. Now, I just have to keep at it. I am still in some pain, but I can't just lay around anymore. It was making me stir crazy. Granted, I did get to watch some really good movies.
But, it is the New Year, and I can't just sit around hoping that this weight will come off. I have to take a pro-active approach. I have been a member of Spark for quite awhile. When I first signed up, I weigh somewhere around 160, and then in the two years following, I gained 30 pounds!! But, since August 2009, I have lost the weight. I have finally utilized all of Spark's resources and made some amazingly supportive friends that my weight is going in the right direction.
I have a good feeling about 2010 and I am excited to get started! Thank you to everyone for your continued support throughout my journey. I can't thank you enough!!

I wanted to recrod a video blog, but the audio wouldn't work. I recorded the whole thing, watched it back and laughed because I was so animated with no sound!
Anywhos, I wanted to put my 2010 goals into writing so I am accountable to myself and also my Spark Family. Plus for one of my team challenges, the number of comments I get ='s the number of minutes we do in the gym or workout activity, so I want it to be a high number!!
So anywhos here are my goals:
1. Starting weight of 2010: 170, Goal weight: 125
I would like to lose 50 pounds this year. I would like to lose that weight by July 1st, or the end of the 50 pound challenge!
2. Cardio workout (at least 30 mins) 5 times a week.
3. Strength training 2 x's a week
4. I would like to run the Shamrock Shuffle (10k) in Madison on March 14th, 2010. I have a running schedule all planned out and I am going to follow that.
5. Time management! This means planning out when I am going to workout, my meals, and also homework and other things.
