I take medication for my bipolar and sleep like a baby! Perhaps the doctor can give you something for sleep. It's hard to function if you don't get your zzzzzzzz's. Dream on...zzzzzzz.

Hi Tracy I have had trouble getting to sleep and somebody said to me that it could be a symptom of menopause. You might want to get a herbal supplement to help if it is a symptom something to think about. I am going to loose 80lb this year I lost 66 last year we can do it together one day at a time.

Thanks for asking. I had a GREAT day today. Got off early from work and went w/ a friend to lunch. Then we caught up on visiting and chatting. The afternoon went all too fast. Tomorrow I will do laundry. Ugh!

Glad that you got plenty of sleep my friend. Never do today and you can put of to tomorrow... right? I know that the laundry isn't going to run away so you can get it done later. Listening to your body and getting much needed sleep is actually an excellent gift to give to yourself. Love, Dawn emoticon

Crappy! Aren't you glad you asked? emoticon

At least I can smile about it today and just blame it all on being female. I did get HALF the laundry done, just none of mine, so I continue to sit here in short sleeves and shorts. Yes, it's Arizona and that's just fine to wear when it's 1-2 PM in January, but it's a bit chilly in my house right now! Does being cold help burn calories?

Delicious salad my daughter makes

Monday, January 25, 2010

She always dresses it herself never measures though-- spices, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, olive oil ... tonight it was strawberries, walnuts, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, and if we had red onion it would have had red onion in it.. she also forgot the black olives... now why she did not use lettuce and we have 6 romaine hearts in the fridge I will never know why! lol

I think I'm going to try it - I have everything but the strawberries and I'll put those up tomorrow. I don't think I want lettuce in it (or olives).
Tell your daughter thanks for tomorrow's salad!

  Why no lettuce?

However, 'FOOD FOR THOUGHT'...your daughter made dinner! WOWSERS, there is nothing wrong with that at all! Maybe next time the lettuce could be ready on plates and she can create a family masterpiece from there?

Talk to her and thank her for the help in the kitchen. Slide in your suggestions concerning the lettuce and other add ins!

Send her to my home. I want to see what she comes up with that I happen to have lying around. :)

    Congrats on the weight loss.

I hear you about the bills.

They never stop and sure don't get less do they?

I honestly don't know how people are going to keep paying them.
