Need to get back into my routine - I feel like I'm slowing down :(

This week has been terrible - work has been t'remendously tasking and I feel as if I just survived. I have had little to no time to recharge and/or exercise all week so I'm pretty down on myself for that as well.

My husband and I went to an open house/car show last night and had fun but we should have come home earlier - I woke up this morning with a migraine and am moving really slow now. Should have listened to my inner voice last night but I guess I get mad knowing I don't get out enough so I wanted to stay out a little longer.

I need to re-motivate myself and get back into my healthy routine again! Its just tough to think about that when I don't feel well at the moment.

    Don't be too down on yourself. Weeks like this just happen. What is one week anyway? Definitely not enough to put that big of a dent in all your hard work. And I'm glad you had a good time. I know what it's like to not have much time for yourself. Those times recharge your batteries too. You can do this!!

I had a great time catching up with my brother last night - he lives in Kansas while I'm in Indiana. We actually talked until about midnight which was fun but we were both really tired when we hung up. I stayed up a little later and then went to bed and really didn't get enough sleep. Had to get up this morning at about 6am to get to work early, still had to drop off my little one to daycare (which was really not bad this morning yay) and then was on my feet until about an hour ago. I brought my lunch but was a little bad and had a cookie afterward (and counted it on my nutrition tracker) but now I feel even more lethargic and have a headache!

Hopefully drinking some water with my advil will help!

Its been crazy this week with my husband working so many overtime hours (hasn't been home before 7:30 yet this week and last week was almost as crazy). Added to the fact its been oven-like hot this week, and me being busy working on my feet most of the week, trying to fit exercise (by definition) has felt impossible!

Today while I was helping install refrigerators in the hospital I'm working on, I've managed to get over 10k steps and 15 flights of steps just at work!! I guess that still counts, but I do miss getting out on my bike (me time)...

Rough start to the week - but still looking at the horizon!!

Biggest challenge the beginning of this week was picking myself up after re-gaining the two pounds I'd lost from the previous weekend. Even though today I'd gone back down half a pound, I guess I was listening to a little voice telling me I'd be OK if I just was a little bad :/

This week has had a tough start, too! Work is CRAZY busy and seems like nothing is going right...SO much to juggle! Husband is not feeling good plus last night he didn't get home from work until close to 8 emoticon I felt so bad for him knowing how he felt and then having to work like that I decided to have dinner ready for him when he got home. When he did finally get home he didn't even have the energy to eat, but I felt at least good that I tried.

Already halfway through Tuesday - hoping I'm going to be able to get some exercise in (despite the oven-like temperature outside). Crossing fingers!!

Finishing out the week pretty well! Despite being worn out from a long long day yesteray (raced home from work, sold/helped load one of our mowers, picked up a bike for my little one, took my teenager to her horse lesson and ended up helping untack and hold horses most of the night...picked up four year old from grandparents (thanks mammaw and pappaw!), drove home and ate a light dinner at 9:30pm, put the four year old to bed, took a shower and collapsed into bed), I actually got with enough time to get myself and my four year old up, dressed, fed and out to an 8am appointment, then off to work half an hour early! At lunchtime I took the long way to the cafeteria to even get a one mile walk in!! I hope this is a preview of what's to come :)

Loss this week: 1.5 lbs!!! Goodbye plateau!! emoticon
