Hi Tony, I've known you for a while through our Teams but just realized today I hadn't added you as my spark friend, I did that this morning and hope you do the same, I'm also wondering how your wife is doing? Trust she is well and strong and has fully recovered, you are a wonderful husband to take that time off from here to tend to her needs. God's Blessings on your day, hope you both have an awesome weekend!

"Sirs we would see Jesus"

Friday, March 01, 2013

Philip was the apostle who took the Greeks to meet Jesus. He also introduced Nathaniel to Jesus. History tells us that he became a great evangelist in Asia. He spent a lifetime inviting people to come and see Jesus. Yet in the upper room he struggled with his faith when he asked Jesus to "show us the Father." We too might be shy and struggling with our faith. But we can be like Philip and say we have found Him whom Moses and the prophets wrote. "Jesus of Nazareth Come and see." Are you introducing people to Jesus?

At Calvary

Thursday, February 28, 2013

" Our sins not in part ,but the whole is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more>" These words penned by Horatio Stafford are so powerful and yet we so easily forget them. How often don't we fall back into the same sins that we brought to Calvary earlier? We need to know that we can leave our sin at the cross because the price has been paid once for all. We have been released from the guilt of sin because Christ shed His blood so that we may be forgiven. Come to the cross today, confess your sins and remember that you can leave redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Amen thanks for posting, hope you don't mind me sharing my thoughts...

Indeed, we have been washed and cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb, we are forgiven, and set free because of what Jesus did on Calvary's Cross, by pouring out His life's Blood for our sins so we could be forgiven. It is Finished! He Paid the Price Once and for All. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus.. Jesus is Alive, And we as believers have a hope that one day Jesus is coming back for His Church and will take us home to Heaven to be with Him forever.

God's Word tells us in John 14:2-3

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also

What a glorious hope and promise we have that one day Jesus is coming back for His Church and we will be with Him for all of eternity...

Jesus said your sins are forgiven Sin No more .We are to make a aim to try to get out of our patterns of sin With the Holy Ghost we sin less and less The sins we do after we were saved If we do not repent tell God we sinned ask him to forgive us and try not to do it again If we hurt someone by our sin Ask forgiveness Broke the low night go to jail. Sooner or later sin bites us in the bum If we keep on sinning we start to stop thing whot we are doing and sin takes us over Then we become lost to God.

Self Discipline

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

What does self discipline mean to the Christian lifestyle: Self discipline manifests itself through our obedience to God It is very important in all that we do. It is making sound judgements rather than impulsive ones. We live in a world filled with many choices. Many emotions and appetites pull us down and away from God's best
So often we would rather please ourselves than God. However just as we need to practice self control in our bodies through nutritional eating and exercise , we also need to practice self control in our minds. We need to do what is right.

Many people consider the word "DISCIPLINE" to be a punishment, but actually, it means to train. We must train ourselves to follow God's way and not the way of the world. THANK YOU TONY! Vic.

The commandments are whot we follow They are all about loving God and others If we love we do not hurt others by our action. We love God more then yourself and others like our self.

Heart Problem

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

In the story of the friends bringing a paralytic to Jesus w e see them dropping the paralytic through a hole in the roof. Jesus when he see the man senses immediatly that the man has a heart problem along with his being paralyzed. He tells the man your sins are forgiven and he heals him as well. Our problems sometimes run deeper than we know. When we walk with the Great Physician he can diagnose us accurately and heal us completely. Come to Him today.

Yes, all our problems really start with our hearts. A thorough cleansing is provided when one comes to Jesus and we must keep 'fessed up to maintain our heart and spirit health.
