I have never lost this much weight before and I'm scared! Scared that I will gain it back! I've lost 10, 15, 20 lbs before and gained it back plus some! SMH!
Granted I have been sick the last 2 weeks but to finally reach 50 lbs! I'm happy but cautious and scared. I will be watching everything I put in my mouth this week. Since I am feeling better, I can get my butt back in gear with my 2000+ calorie burn goals too. I'm going to start out slowly as I regain my strength. Probably do chair exercises today as well as walk the dog. Then add on a little more tomorrow.
I've got to do this! Got to stay focused! I talk to myself all the time too!
Sometimes you have to encourage yourself. Anyway, pray for me that I don't slip this week.

I've been sick this week and all I can think about is not breaking my fitness streak!
That's a first!!
Usually, I just crawl up in the bed and say the #@## with it. My mindset must be changing.
I always seem to get sick when I start making progress. Or maybe its that I always start making progress when the seasons change! Hum!
Anyway, I have to take my dog out for a walk and that keeps me moving. Since I'm running a fever, I better bundle up and muster up the energy!
So as not to break my fitness streak, I will be doing the bare minimum until I feel better.

Whew! Glad Thanksgiving is over and the leftovers are just about gone! I almost didn't make my goal this week of 2000 calories burned. My foot, knees, and ankles were bothering me all week.
Despite the pain, I help a friend of mine move into her 2nd floor apartment. Up and down the stairs! Up and down the stairs! Carrying boxes, bags, and other things. For 2 days!! But in the end, I met my goal and had fun! We laughed and talked our way through it until we were done.
I took off today and just walked the dog. Rested my feet, knees and ankles! Feel much better. Gotta get rested up for next week's challenge.
I hope everyone had a safe, happy, not too far off plan, Thanksgiving. If you did go off plan, I'm looking for you to be back on plan with me tomorrow!! Gear up for next week!

I worked for it last week. Next weeks goal will be the same, 2000+ calorie burn. Its going to be a busy week. Shopping, cooking, cleaning, the usual holiday chores! Going over family house for dinner. But I've got to stay in control all of my favorite foods will be there.
I will probably drink or eat something before going to dinner. That way I won't get too hungry.

Yes, I made it!
My goal this week was to burn 2000 calories! I'm following the Simple Diet and they suggest a goal of 2000 calories burned for the week. After doing some figuring, I found that I was not burning enough calories. It really wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I added a couple cardio workout videos from Tiffany Rothe and continued to walk 2x a day. That's what got me to my goal.
I went over because I helped my Mom move some boxes, up stairs for 3 hours on Saturday. That was the icing on the cake. When I did get home, I passed out on the bed and stayed there. LOL, I'm worn out now. Tomorrow, I need to go grocery shopping and walk 2x and that will be it for the day!
Next weeks goal will be the same - 2000 calories burned! No slack for me just because of the holiday! I'll be working out on Thanksgiving Day, too!
