I wanted to say how I've missed all of you since school started. I hope things are about to settle down, and allow me to get back involved and losing weight. I did get a wonderful yorkie puppy. I named her Shiloh after the kennel she came from and because it means tranquility. I'm hoping she will be that. So far, she does seem very laid back. Keep me in your prayers. I need to get started again. At least, I haven't gained a lot back. Shiloh will be approx 7 lbs when grown if the charts are correct. She carries the parti gene. Her father was a parti yorkie and very beautiful. I had never seen a parti yorkie before, but thought they were lovely and unusual. She will be a blue and silver we think.

Yes gang, I am so excited to have finally gone under my starting weight of 280 using the SPARK PLAN. I truly feel this is the last time I will see 280 in my life now that I have found the true answer. It is only a lb. under, but that is alright. I did it the right way, so I believe it will stick this time. I'm hanging up my yo-yo for good this time. This is also my graduation from the Fast Break Phase today. It would have been much more if I hadn't shot up to 285 after losing the 3 lbs. on Atkins, then gaining 8 back!! I have been working to take that off, but now I'm moving in the right direction and on the right "Live-it" plan (no diets in my vocabulary), just healthy eating. Thank you SPARK PEOPLE for all the wonderful information and for the diet plan you provide. It is so easy to aim for the limits you have set for me. Thank you to all of you, and thank you that all this is FREE! I would have just had to pass the site by if you had charged. I have looked into so many things on Internet that have to do with diet, but eventually passed them up because I could not afford the charge. I thank God, He helped me to stumble onto your awesome web site!!

Hey you GUYS!!!!!! The diet does seem to be working. I have been trying to be more faithful to logging my foods, exercising, and watching what I eat. I have now lost all those pounds I gained when I stopped Atkins. It just puts me back at my starting point of 280, but hey, that's better than the 285 I saw a few days ago. I am not swelling anymore either in the ankles. I think I could have gout, but I'm not confessing that, just watching my pork. I had been eating a lot while on Atkins. I normally do not swell at all. I also read online that when in ketosis (Atkins) you can have deposits of uric acid in your joints and that can cause swelling. I don't know, just thankful the Lord helped me fix it. That was miserable. I am counting on going under 280 after today.

Well, I woke up feeling rather bad this morning, but as the day went on, I got online with my Spark friends, and the site itself, and this was a real motivator for me. I started reading from the start page, and begin to understand more about the site. I did have trouble getting my Fast Break Goals to save, but I have a post into Fast Break and in the Tech message boards. Hopefully someone can help me. I am excited about the diet (oops-- THE LIVE IT) concept that this site encourages. I can make small changes. I hope all my friends are well and living it well on Sparks!! See ya on the up side.
