This week has been a tough one for me but I am going to finish out this challenge!!
Wed 9/6
Breakfast
Special k cereal

Lunch
left over country baked steak and mashed potatoes and mixed veggies

snack
1tbs natural peanut butter and carrots

dinner
Burrito with ground turkey, fat free refried beans and tomatoes with jalapenos.. oh and light sour cream :o)

Thursday 9/7
Breakfast

Lunch
Turkey burger with cheese tomato and jalapenos and cherries

Snack
oops.... the picture says all

dinner
white rice (i know ya'll are cringing right now) and orange chicken..
I had half for dinner and the other half for lunch on Firday 9/8

my food has been missing some key ingredience lately.. I need to fix it I know, but I'm going to be honest with it anyway :o)

Monday
Breakfast... french toast

nothing breakfast was more like brunch

bbq pork sandwich


I wasn't feeling very good that day so I ate what I was able to.

Tuesday

leftover french toast

I shared this yummy honey bears meal with my daughter

salad


and lasagna


for snack a pear

    I never thought I'd like doing these food blogs but I now see how useful they can be! They make us take an honest look at what we eat over the course of the day. OMG.... I couldn't imagine what mine would have looked like 4 months ago when I was completely off track...

I am starting something new this week.. I want to blog more. This is more for myself then anyone else but I do hope that maybe my triumphs and struggles can help someone else with theirs.

Today I did OK. I ate with in range and I was in a really good mood all day. Sundays are my "day of rest" so I do not exercise. I really want to keep up with my morning exercise and get that scale moving in the right direction but if it decides to stay again this week then I'm OK with that too. As long as I exercise and eat healthy then I'm going to be healthy. (still feeling the positive attitude from yesterday)

Today...

Today was not a very good day nutritionally but I'm still feeling positive and ready to start again fresh and anew tomorrow! This is a big step for me because I usually get so down on myself that I continue for a few days before I pull out.

Today I went shopping and my mother bought me some clothes for my birthday. I am trying not to buy too many new things but they were needed!! I tried on a dress that was too big but I kinda liked the way that it looked (wish they would have had my size) so this is what it looked like:

I needed to go shopping and see that I am really changing. Sometimes I feel like I'm really not making any progress (stupid scale) but this showed me that I am!

    Good for you keeping a "good mind" about your day. It's a step in the right direction! As for the clothes, yes it's good to see that the scale doesn't always reflect our progress. I take my measurements about once a month. I often see toning and firming before the scale shows my progress. Keep at it because emoticon

Well me..

Every time I need to exercise I make a choice.
Either I choose to do it
Or I choose not to

When I choose to exercise I feel great afterward. Like I've accomplished something, like I've won.
When I choose not to exercise I feel, well for lack of a better way to say it, LAZY and STUPID! Lazy because well, HELLO I chose to be lazy. Stupid because I know better and I need to do this for my health. Now there are some times when I can't exercise and I don't beat myself up for it but every time I miss a workout I feel bad!! No more holding myself back. I'm moving forward!!

  Keep moving forward and do not forget to reward yourself verbally when to do exercise. Sometimes just going for a walk for 30 will be enough. Do not give up and stay on the path.
