Feeling Very Good

The pictures say it all. Last summer, I had high blood pressure; I spent a week in the heart center; over-weight; stressed out; inactive; unable to sleep; in pain everywhere (because of a motorcycle accident) This summer, great blood pressure (no more medicine!); healthy heart; 57 pounds lighter; living in balance and peace; very active (hiking, walking, running, snowshoeing, working out, etc..);sleeping every night; less pain and living out God's will in my life each day!

Strength training

Question, both my hands were injured in a motorcycle accident; it makes it difficult to do strength training; do you have some hand-less ideas on strength training at home?

    The right wrist is fused, no flexibility in the wrist joint, left wrist was broken in 6 places; it has 5 lbs of strength; however, the rest of my upper body is fine...

    I would just start with body resistance at first. You could also get weights that strap to your wrist. Since I'm not sure what your limitations are, it's hard to give advice. Perhaps you can use resistance bands? They can be looped around the wrist or forearm etc. Hope this helps
