Well here it is, I'm on my ninth day in my new "Let's Get Fit You Fatty Boom Ba Laddy" diet. I have had real success keeping my caloric intake around 2100-2200 per day with the exception of a really high 3700 day last Sunday.
But the real strategy that I need to implement is having a good breakfast before I leave the house. If I leave the house on an empty stomach, every time I pass a McDonald's those Evil Arch's start a calling...
Not only do I love McDonalds coffee, But I like the breakfast food there. I love the Sausage and Gravy Biscuits... I have noticed that McD's nutritional website fails to posts the values for this meal.. That means two things to me... Delicious! and Deadly!
Today I gave in, I had left the house in a rush because I had to make it clear across town to pick up a car only to drive downtown for a meeting before 8:00 am.. So in my haste, I saw them arch's.. I decided to give in and order a large coffee and a scrumptious Egg McMuffin which I have not had for two weeks now. It honestly tasted so good I struggled not to stop at the next McDonalds and order another one.
However, I did make it to my meeting on time and had only ingested 312 Calories to boot by 10:00am. I guess the victory I can claim is that even while having the craving for more, I held back knowing that calories quickly add up.
Thank God I don't struggle with McDonalds meals for lunch and Dinner. Nevertheless, I could use a route home that does not pass any Pizza shops.
