Day 10 IKEA, Cheer, Studying, and Baking

Sunday, December 14, 2008

Thanks to all that have posted comments on my blog and have send me goodies, your support is great !!!!!! :o) emoticon emoticon

Wow what a day!!! I should be sleeping, but I want to finish my tracking and blog for today. Last night we went out to a place called Cafe Poca Cosa, I think I was pretty good. I shared a meal with my hubby other than I had all the salad. I was up only .2 this morning, so that is good. At Ikea this morning I opted for the small breakfast, which is eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and a small amount of non greasy home fries. Of course we were still there at lunch time and I decided on the vegetarian dish that they had without the sauce and had half of a small desert with hubby. Then after being at IKEa from 9-4 we rushed home to watch my daughters cheer squad perform their holiday show. We were 2 hours away in Phoenix, so I was able to study some on the way. Then after the show I came home did some more school work and got back to the baking. Had a little trouble with the cookie press, but got them all and a bunch of buckeyes finished. I can't wait till I'm all done with the goodies. I'm happy to say that I only had one cookie (about 20-25 cal) , no buckeyes or chocolate covered cookies. My daughter didn't want to try them for me. I wanted to make sure they didn't taste too overcooked. I better get off to bed, tomorrow will be a busy day rearranging rooms and baking. Hopefully I will be able to get a few boxes/bags done for people. Here is a picture from when we were leaving IKEA and one of my daughter from tonight...................................

Day 9

Friday, December 12, 2008

Well I did good last night. Ended up at Pei Wei and got the Lettuce wraps. I asked for them to make them spicy so I didn't eat it as fast and asked them to double up the lettuce. I only ate half the chicken and asked for some more lettuce to go, since I ate it all. Then even put it in a zip lock bag for me. Worked on the holiday treats after I got home (buckeyes and chocolate pretzles. I had decided ahead of time that I would have 1 of each (I made the buckeyes pretty small so they aren't as bad) and I waited till I was cleaning up for the night and just had one pretzle and one buckeye, well I also had 1 chocolate chip. I ate one of the dark chocolate preztles and left it up to my neice to taste test the white chocolate ones. :o) Tomorrow morning we are driving up to Ikea 2 hours away and in the evening my daughters cheer squad has a show. Hopefully I don't have too many temptations, but I will choose them wisely and plan to stay within my calorie budget. I avoided all the goodies brought in to work today. Of course I was armed with my sugar free jell-o and pudding cup and my redi whip light :o) They finally finished off the dark chocolate cake. I didn't even justify the fact that it had dark chocolate shavings on it. lol Well cheer to a good evening and getting some exercise in tonight. Also to good choices. Here is the pic of the day. It is of my hubby and I in November when we were crewing the Breast Cancer 3 Day event in Phoenix. We were on the Gear and Tent crew, don't we look so cute on pajama morning ;o) ..........................................

This next week I want to focus on getting my cardio in every day and trying new recipes and consuming more fresh veggies. Tonight there will be alot going on and I may have to go out to dinner, but I promise to be good and try to go somewhere that I know what I will be eating. Wonderful Wednesday

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

Well I am back in the zone :o) My goal this week is to get back to being active regularly and losing through this holiday season. I also have a goal to try to cook something new sometime this next week. It's harder for me to walk during my day at work, but I will walk at home or find something else active after work if I am not able to get in my 10 - 30 min at work. I also have decided to make some goodies for a few people this year so I am in need of my will power to not sample a bunch of it. ;o) I can do this and I will. I will be much happier at a healthier weight. This pic was taken a week ago by my wonderful hubby (12-3-08 175 lbs)

You're looking great! No better time to rededicate yourself than during the holidays. Good luck on not giving in to temptation when making goodies for others. emoticon emoticon emoticon
