I am so not a morning person but when looking at my schedule, it made sense to me that in order to reach my weight loss and fitness goals, i am going to have to get up early to hit the gym. I wake up at 5am, do some morning maintenance, drink 4oz of OJ and take a banana in the car with me. I am in the car by 5:15. I arrive by 5:25, great my buddy and we get to it. I typically do 30 - 45 mins of the treadmill and or weights then get home in time for my husband and I to talk briefly before he heads out the door, which never happened before b/c I was usually sleep at 7am still. I feel great when I am done knowing that I got it in and did something for myself. I also feel refreshed. I know my body has to get used to getting up early, but I know it will catch up to my mind as long as I keep doing it day after day! I think I can turn into a morning person...what do you think?
