Time to get back on track...

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

Hi everyone.... well I had my baby girl on October 14, 2008. We are both doing great. I am trying to get back on track with my weight lose.... I am down to 215 since a 239 - 38 week pregnant weight. so i am happy that i could get into my clothes. my first goal is to get back to where i was before becoming pregnant...205. It has been hard to get active and exersise. I have started work but i sit at a desk and i am there only 2 days out of the week.... I have no excuse not to exercise. I find myself just in front of the t.v watching biggest loser when i should join them.... I just need to start and stay in a routine...getting the routine started is my problem.

Okay I am heading toward the finish line. I have three morre weeks with this baby inside of me.... It has been really hard to get on the scale every time I go to the doctors office. I have put all my weight i lost back on. However I am confident that I am going to shed them off as soon as I am physically able to. I have a good support system. And i am so ready to put on regular clothes again. well i guess thats all for now.

Dreading the Doctor's Office

Friday, June 06, 2008

As much as I am happy to be pregnant, I am NOT happy with this weight gain. Not at all.....I worked so hard to get my weight down finally..and BOOM...prego! Dang it! They say every pregnancy is different and this one is totally different from my first two.....I dread getting on the scale knowing that i have gained weight. I eat every 2 hours..I am trying to make healthy choices....like yogurt, fruits and granola bars.....there is no running from it I am gaining weight....it is really hard to accept the fact that i might put all my weight ( I have lost) back on. My doctor has not said anything yet about the weight gain but i am waiting for the TALK. I have gained 15 pounds. I am now 20 weeks pregnant. And I am at the half way mark. I hope I DON'T gain to much more.........I know its not likely but it is wishful thinking :)

can you add a daily walk to help or light workouts to help. Also remember to drink water and try and keep the extra eating down. Good luck.

Dealing with Gaining Weight

Wednesday, April 16, 2008

emoticonWell this is how I am goning to feel soon. I found out I was pregnant about 2 months ago. I am now about 13 weeks prego. Yes I am happy but have mixed feelings about putting on weight. i was almost to my goal. And bam now I am knocked up. I was starting to feel good about my outer self. I know I will get back on track to get back to what I weighed before i got PG. But for now I am going to stay healthy for me and the baby. And pray I dont pack on to much wieght. I have gained 8 pounds so far. I am going to start a walk routine during lunch to keep some kind of movement. I am always hungry and tired. But I am snacking on yogurt and fruit. Anyway i just wanted to put down some thought and see if anyone has gone thru that before.

    Congratulations!
I'm always telling ladies I know who are trying to conceive, just start loosing some weight and BAM you'll get pregnant in no time! lol
Can't say that I've gone through it like that myself though.
I started packin on the pounds like a year before I found out I was pregnant. I am one of those people who ate for 2 also! Such an awful thing to do!
I'm sure you'll need more calories than while dieting but you can still keep it at a limit so you dont' pack on too much extra, ya know. And if you have already been exercising, I'm sure you can keep some of it up also.
My dr was always telling me to WALK WALK WALK while I was pregnant! lol I guess he wasn't toooo happy about all the weight I was gaining. lol But not once did he say anything about the weight specifically.
Anyhow, congrats to you and yours and best of luck for a happy and healthy pregnancy!
