Week 2 Goals

Fitness goals:
I am doing things slowly. Adding on a few things I think I can handle so I don't burn out... This week I am adding 1 mile and strength training.

So...
Run 3 miles 6 days this week.
Strength training 6 days this week.
Yoga 6 days this week.

Nutrition goals:
I want to track my meals everyday. My week starts today, Monday, so I need to start tracking today. One day splurge, as always, is Sunday. I would like that splurge to stay under 2000 calories.

I believe this is all do-able. Let's hope I get my butt in gear and do it!

  


Swim Suit!

I did it! I actually bought a swim suit and had it on all weekend! I didn't look half bad either! I am so happy that I decided it was time for weight loss, I needed this, this summer. This is really shaping up to be a good year for me.
Mentally I am feeling better than ever. I have turned into somewhat of an optimist. I wake up every morning feeling good and ready to go and the mornings I don't, I do it anyway!
Physically I am in really good shape, not like I was when I used to dance, but I am getting there. I can run a 5K without hesitation! Working towards that 10K! I have never been and runner and now I love to run! It clears my mind and puts me in a great mood.
I am finishing this year with a bang! I have 6months left and I am going to be awesome these last 6months. Next year will be even better!

I find out soon if this awesome artist will paint something just for me! I own one of his paintings already and just found out that sometimes he will personalize paintings for people. I put in my request today! I hope he says yes! It took me a year to get my hands on the first painting of his I bought. I can't even imagine owning one he personalized for me! Cross your fingers!

  


Crazy fast food binge!

So, my husband took leave for a week... Wonderful, right? No, not when all he eats is fast food. I had 6meals of fast food last week! YUCK! Most of them didn't even taste good, but I thought they would so I always ordered. I am lucky that I didn't gain weight last week, but I didn't lose weight either. I did lose inches, but not as much as normal. I am back! My husband is back to work and I am back to my schedule. Life is too short to make it shorter by being unhealthy!

    Its great that you are not getting stuck in the mentality of well, I've made one mistake, I might as well give up! You have a great attitude about getting back on track and taking Monday as a new day!

I have always worn my husband's PT shorts to work out in. They are size large. Lately when I wear them I not only have to roll them down twice, when I run they start sliding down my butt! I love that feeling! It makes me realize how far I have come.
Two weeks ago I put on a pair of shorts that I bought for myself last summer. They were tight when I bought them. To my surprise! I could barely keep them on my hips. When I would walk, they would start slipping down!
Now, if only my top half would start to shrink, life would be grand! There is hope!
