Thus far on this veggie fast I have lost a few pounds and the big kicker is.................drum roll please....................... my blood pressure is radically dropping back to the good old days of below 120/80!! YES!!!! My treat for dinner is making homemade veggie pizza, with a side of mixed fruit, 100 calorie cup of chocolate mousse yogurt, and tiny tiny glass of wine! I'm so proud of myself. I have found myself less tired, sleeping better, less bloated feeling.
Goal for this week:
Workout 2 times in the AM
Eat "healthy" vegetarian 6 days this week (allow myself ONE meat meal)
Drink lots of water
Blog /check in somewhere on Spark this 2 times
Lose 1-2 pounds.
Potential Road blocks:
Traveling this weekend and keeping up with the healthy eating during some celebrating with friends.
Fighting menstrual issues, overcoming them, or seeing how this eating lifestyle will make me feel.
