Well I haven't blogged for a few days, been busy organizing my local Tampa Summer Shape-up Challenge. This all started from watching an episode of The Biggest Loser a few weeks ago with a friend. So when I decided to do it, I thought, maybe we can get 20 people involved and hoped we would. Well we're at 40 now and I'll have to cap it at 50 cause word is getting around! I'm very excited! I've never done anything like this before, so I'm scared and excited at the same time! But everything is organized and falling into place! I've made some progress and I think this would be great to have a local forum to compete to move faster, and help others in the process! So I'm still definitely enjoying the process!!!
My husband and I are going to a Family Reunion for Memorial Day weekend, and my only shorts were size 12, which I bought before our cruise on 12/1/08. Well, today I bought two pair of SIZE EIGHT (8) shorts!!! Woo Hoo! I was so excited! I took this picture today of me in my size 12 shorts! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!! WE ALL CAN DO IT!!!

What a great day! Started with a wonderful worship service of how ungrateful the Israelites were when they complained about the manna, when they had seen the works of Yahweh, and contrasted it to Job, who had everything taken away and was from a remote area of the earth and was even an Isrealite and never cursed Yahweh. What a great lesson for us all today!
Then had a great workout with my hubby. Did some Yoga Booty Ballet, then some Cardio Kickboxing, both from TV and the SP video, then ran a mile cause it was so nice out!
Then had a wonderful dinner with my Mom and Stepfather. I love them both so much and am so grateful to have her as my Mom!
And I was really good at the restaurant, had blackened grouper with green beans and rice with half a piece of bread and a couple glasses of wine. Only 529 calories total - still on track for the day! Woo Hoo!

Well, while the scale has not been my best friend, I checked my body fat and it was 27.3%, which is down over a full percent from last month! Yay! In December, my body fat was 35% so I'm definitely making progress there. Was a little more sore today than normal so I decided to make today my day off, with the exception of the SP Bootcamp workout, which is really quick. I'm starting a local Biggest Loser Contest which I think will be a lot of fun! We have a lot of people already interested which is great.
Watched the new show Cook Yourself Thin this week, and tried a turkey burger for the first time - LOVED IT! Loved putting the green chilis in it for flavor! I'll never need a beef burger again!
Having fun and enjoying the process! Super excited about the Biggest Loser Finale this week! Never going back to the way I was!!! Loving the way I am!!!

Had a great workout today! Did one from the FitTV channel - Allstar Workouts. It was pretty tough mainly because there was some tricky choreography, but I was dripping sweat by the time I finished, so that was good! Then I switched up to Shaun T's Hip Hop Abs to continue the burn, then did the SP Bootcamp Challenge of the day. So it was a good changeup to my routine. Ate good today too. So overall it was a good day.
