Back on Track

Monday, May 04, 2009

Well, I never got totally off track, but just had a little pity party over the weekend. But it's OVER and it's a new week! Had a great day, working out and eating. Enjoying the SP Bootcamp videos! Life is so wonderful, sometimes we just need to stop and appreciate what we have in life. It helps us appreciate moving forward.

You said it...... so often we get caught up in all the garbage throughout the day we forget to really just stop and be thankful for what we have.

I would be soo scared to post a picture of me in any type of bathing suit let alone a bikini, although it would make me work harder at fitting into one. Good luck.

Set back, then went forward again!

Saturday, May 02, 2009

Ok, so I got really discouraged about my lack of results and I had 2 cups of Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (600 cals)! Yikes! After this so-called pity party, I decided to get over myself and continue, so I ran 2.5 miles, did 20 min on the stationary bike, did 20 min of cardio strenth DVD and did my NROLFW strenth workout. So I burned almost 800 calories to make up for the 600 I wasted! Maybe I didn't need to do that, but it made me feel good. I'm excited about starting the May SP Bootcamp tomorrow! The key is we'll all have some bad days here and there but they don't have to end up that way! We just gotta pick ourselves up and keep moving forward!!!

We do have very weak moments! But like you said, when we stumble and sometimes fall down we just need to pull ourselves up dust the seat of our pants off and keep going! We are human and we are going to make so many mistakes, but don't dwell on them!
You did good!

You are so right. If you felt the need for atonement, great. The important thing is that you realize that you will not always be perfect. ( no one is) Fall down, get back up. Good for you sweetie

Making Changes

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Well I finally broke down and bought some protein, as I've been lacking getting enough. So I made Oatmeal Protein pancakes this morning. Okay it took me 2 hours to swallow a bite, but they were actually pretty good. I also ate 6 times today, which I haven't been doing. I would eat 5 times then stop because it was "after 8pm" which is crazy if I'm still up and I want my metabolism to keep going! I'm still learning. I've learned so much from this site. Watching Biggest Loser now, which always motivates me. Loving NROLFW! No weight loss for this past week, but that's okay.

Still enjoying the process!!!

Biggest Loser has only just been advertised as a forthcoming program over here in the UK and I'm itching to see what all the fuss is about.
It's gonna be watched now- regardless if DH has control of the remote emoticon.
You're doing so well! You rock!

Less than 60 days!

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

I feel great but sometimes I feel like I'm losing momentum toward my goal to lose the rest of the weight by my birthday mid June. But I'm not stopping. Enjoying doing the HIIT. Just wish I could drop weight/fat quicker and with more consistency. But I'm in it for the long term - health for life!!!

Gotta keep enjoying the process! Thanks to all of you who encourage me continually! Don't know where I'd be without myb Sparkpeople!

    Tia
I think every Sparker wants to lose weight quicker and with consistency but bodies have a reluctance to do that LOL
You'll get there, your eating well and exercising and you're getting fitter by the day.
You'll get there-patience my friend, patience.
