Loving eating clean, getting the hang of the New Rules of Lifting for Women workouts, taking a break from running this week due to my shin splints but overall just excited about making progress and seeing other excited about starting their journey!

Well I'm finally submitting to a system to follow. Been doing a lot of a bunch of things and for the past 3 weeks have plateaued in my weight loss. So I got the book The New Rules of Lifting for Women, which was recommended. Read the whole book in less than 2 hours. Good stuff. Started the workout today. Food plans are not very different than what I've been doing by eating clean. So I'm going to focus on it for 90 days.
Also, I have 10 pairs of pants in my car that I can't fit anymore - they're too LOOSE!!! Taking them to be altered as I don't want to buy clothes in this "in-between" stage.
It looks like I may be started a Team with my reps in my business which will be exciting!

Ok, so I've been flying by the seat of my pants in trying to lose this weight. Was doing great, then hit a plateau and haven't lost a pound in 3 weeks. Still losing inches so not all is lost. But finally broke down and decided I need to follow a "program". So I got the book The New Rules of Lifting for Women. Finished it within two hours, and already did my first workout with it. The meal plans make sense, they're pretty much what I'm doing by eating clean. I just needed some structure in what I'm trying to accompish, versus doing a little of everything. So I feel calmed down now and am really going to focus on this for 90 days!
P.S. On a great note, I have 10 pairs of pants that I simply can not wear anymore - they're all too lose! Don't want to buy any right now since I'm still in the "in-between" stage so I'm getting them altered for now.

Well, I'm not seeing much progress on the scale, no change in 3 weeks and today I check my body fat and it WENT UP!!! What's up with that? But I'm not discouraged because I know I've been doing the right things, so I just have to give it time! But I really want to hit my goal by my birthday in June!!! Just gotta stay consistent!
Finished Day 4 of the 100 Pushup challenge. My husband and I are doing this together. I made sure I only worked legs today so I'd have full strenth! Did 31 on my first test two weeks ago, did 54 tonight so I was pumped! AND, to top it off, I even did 2 more than my six-pack abs hubby did! Woo Hoo! Of course he's still a sexy stud to me! :) But it was fun to have beat him today!!!
Awesome day! Tomorrow can only be better!
