Yep. Just what the title reads.
For three weeks I have been successful at tracking and staying on target for my eating. I feel better and sleep better and have more energy.
So, what's the problem?
Problem 1) Last night my hubby and I decided to go out to eat which was unplanned.
Problem 2) One of my comfort foods is beer-battered fish and french fries. It was the first item on the special menu and is just what I ordered. I ate everything on my plate except for a few fries.
Problem 3) Not ordering a salad. What was I thinking, I always order a side salad.
Problem 4) Dessert, warm chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream on top.
All problems. All BIG mistakes!
IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN, YOU PLAN TO FAIL!
I could beat myself up and have it ruin my efforts or I could turn it into a positive.
Positive 1) It was ONE meal and not the whole day.
Positive 2) The fat and always full feeling is all too familiar prior to joining Spark People. I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now.
Positive 3) I am now, more than ever, motivated to become successful at losing this weight and further developing healthier eating and exercising habits.
