OCD needs help

Rough week for me last week. I went on a food binge one night and when I added the food into SparkPeople found out that it wasnít even over 1500 calories. Guess part of my problem is not eating enough throughout the day and then loading up right before I go to bed. Iím a little OCD when I start working and just forget to eat until I have to stop and then realize how hungry I am. Iím really mean the OCD part. I can easily stay up for 24 hours if Iím working on something and not even be tired. Do you know of anyone who has the problem and how do they get past itÖ..

    I think the OCD thing is sort of a mania thing, too. If it's really affecting you then you have go seek counseling or a doctor. Not something to try to work through on your own. I don't know much from a real disorder point of view but I've read about them.

    I with ya. I had a couple of rough nights too. For me, the only thing that workks is to make sure I exercise, make sure I "spark" daily, and keep the food journal as I am going along so I know exactly where I am always.

Having a hard time

I am having a hard time staying on track now that the "biggest Loser" contest is over. I asked my husband and son to think of a reward I can shoot for. I want to lose another 30lbs by vacation, it is at the end of July. I guess I need something to work for. Any help out there??

    You can do it! Maybe reward yourself for every five lbs lost with a massage or your pick of a good book to read. I'm still trying to get into the swing of the "reward yourself" for accomplishments but I think its a GREAT idea, you deserve cudos!!!! emoticon

I found my beginning measurements and I have lost 26lbs and 36inches in 8 weeks. I am having so much fun with this. I can track so much with weight lost.

"biggest loser" contest (1st entry)

We started a "biggest loser" contest at work 3 weeks ago. ( I was going to start Prism on the 5th of Jan.) My co-workers wanted to start the contest the same day. I was so excited that I went home an made up a spread sheet and started plugging in numbers. We weigh in every Monday morning. We have 2 kinds of winners. First we have a weekly winner. This means we have to have the largest % weight lose for that week. That is a week by week weigh in. Then we have the BIG winner. They have to win the largest % over the 12 weeks. So far I have won 2 out of 3 weeks. With 2.5% the 1st week, and 2.46% the 3rd week. There is a little bit of money to the 12 week winner.
