Can I salvage this?

I have had some pretty bad eating days this past week! I didn't realize just how bad until today when I looked up the nutrition for Tuscan Garlic Chicken. I had half of it the other day and the leftovers today and I can't believe that I did that twice! I did get my walking done on the days that DH was home but little else. I guess I will have to consider that now I really have something to do to get back where I was.

    Move FORWARD, don't waste time on regrets, guilt, or what ifs. The only value in looking BACK is to see if there is something you might do differently so that you have better results the NEXT time you are in that situation. Once you do that - make a plan and see if you do better. You can experience great success and should actually be proud of yourself since you are still here, you are still working on YOUR plan and you have NOT quit.     Sometimes serving sizes and restaurant meals, etc. can be deceiving. I try and treat them like a learning experience. Now I know not to order that one, or if I do, eat only a smaller amount, etc. IE Been there done that. My problem is when I do that by trying a new recipe. What to do with the leftovers? I made an African Peanut chicken stew which was good, but when I typed in the calories after eating it, I cried. It was so high, with all the peanut butter in it. Some of the leftovers were eaten, but not most of them. so now I guess I have to pretype in a recipe that I am thinking could be a problem.

On the run

We have been on the go for the last two days! It was DH's days off and we had to take the truck to the shop, in the big city. That was an all day deal. Then he discovered that he had left his cell phone in the truck so it was back to get it the next day, another day shot. This morning I gave him a haircut and I was needing one pretty badly, too. We went back to the city so I could get the haircut and so tonight I feel much better!

What more could you ask for? No more snow. That's what, the weatherman is saying that we can expect some for the next two day! I hope that he has his wires crossed and we will only get some rain. It has rained here the last two days, in the early morning hours and it sure has been nice. Friday it woke us at 2 AM, hailing and raining with thunder crashes and the whole nine yards! I love to hear the Spring storms but not the hail.

Alone tonight

Everybody had to work tonight so here I am sitting at home alone again. It sort of gives me a chance to get caught up with things as I have been so busy. I wasn't sure that I was going to get to Spark today but then DH called to say he was held over. I am thinking, very seriously, about going to spend the day with my niece tomorrow. She does not have school and I will be here alone again. I would take a day off from the exercises. We'll see if I can work that out!

What a day!

I have been on a run all day and didn't get all of my exercises done. I had laundry to do, bills to pay and meals to get. DH is on a funny schedule today and didn't go to work until 12:30 PM so that meant that I had to have lunch ready by 11 AM. That doesn't work out real good for me. I did get my walking (not to 10,000 steps yet), bicycle riding and some strength training done. I am ready to rest and relax for now!
