Is Spring here

It is so pretty outside! I have had the kitchen window open all afternoon letting the sunshine inside. The weather man says it should cool off again next week but we are sure enjoying this while it is here! I have had a good day and am still trying to get ready for my company. I know that it will be hit and miss on Sparking while she is here but hopefully I can still get in some of my exercises!

It is hard to sit in front of a computer during these beautiful days! I haven't even touched mine for 4 days now. But we got the garden ready and planted peas, potatoes and onions, as well as other yard chores. Far from done, but it is a pleasure I enjoy. It is a 3,000 sq ft garden out at daughters, then there are the flower gardens there and at my own home. Since DH retired in Dec. we have his help, so it seems even more fun! And 3 yo DGS has a corner of the garden to play with his trucks, so he is entertained nearby. Enjoy your neice's visit! Report Inappropriate Comment

That is the way it was here yesterday but today, it is cooler. I bought some garden seeds and I am ready to play in the dirt. The bad thing is that I don't think my back is up to it. I had an MRI yesterday as I have been having numbness and pain in my left leg and hip. My doctor thinks it is possibly coming from scar tissue (back surgery in 2002) pressing on a nerve. It has been a beautiful day here. I had to go to town and out of habit put my coat on not realizing that I didn't need one, at all. I have been trying to get things ready for my niece's visit at the end of this week. She will be spending a whole week with me this time. I am looking forward to spending some time with her.

Two days off

Now I am back to work and behind at that! I just have to track every day or I get totally out of control. It doesn't seem like I am doing that bad but then maybe it's the things that I eat and not particularly how much! Eating out plus the fact that I did not do any exercises for two days, I feel like I am starting over. We went to our daughters so we were riding and I didn't get my steps either. I guess that I am starting over!

I am going to get this done today, I was beginning to wonder. DH and I went to the city and met our son, his family and some friends of theirs for dinner this evening. We were celebrating our sons birthday and we had such a good time, laughing and talking! It was a comfortable evening! I stayed within my nutritional limits but am so full, I am not sure that I am going to be able to do this!

The weather man said snow for tomorrow and that is possible. It is thundering, lightening and raining right now. I guess if it must we will take it!

Glad you had fun for your son's birthday. It has warmed up here and the snow is melting. Grandson and I had fun playing in it but we are ready for it to leave! I have lost a pound and it is staying off for a couple days now, so I am hoping I am again on a downward path. It means the difference between 2 sizes of jeans that one little pound! I have gotten done here in good time today. I have interrupted my exercises only just a little bit today and have my desk organized. I bought a three drawer organizer the other day when I went to town so I now have a place for pens and pencils, lead, paper clips, etc. It sure makes a difference in my little corner of the room!
