Long day

We left here early this morning to go get our camper at our sons. It took us all morning and I was sure glad to get back home. I still had time to do some of my exercises and do the paper work, too. Tomorrow I have to leave here early and go have some lab work done so that I can go get my first shot of the new medicine, that I've worked so hard for, on Friday. I should be able to get back home and do most of my exercises again before we have to go to the city for DH's doctor appointment. Some days are a real challenge!

Isn't it funny how life goes along without anything out-of-the-ordinary happening, and suddenly you get hammered with TONS of unusual things that need to be handled? I guess it all balances out, but you need those "lows" to balance out the "highs"! Report Inappropriate Comment

My weekend

I had such a good time with the kids this last weekend. We girls went and got pedicures. Two daughters and two grand daughters and we had such a good time plus felt so good when we were done! We played some games in the evening with the men and we won. Of course they say that they let us win but I have my doubts.

We are making plans for my birthday in Sept. My DH has been talking about going to see the stage production of Lion King. It will be in Wichita next month and we got tickets along with our daughter and SIL. I am so excited as I never thought that we would be able to get to go. I've got something to work toward, now!

Time off

I am taking some time off and will be leaving tomorrow to go spend the weekend with two of my daughters. My daughter is coming from Oklahoma and we will meet at the other daughters home. Planning on a nice relaxing weekend!

Do have a nice weekend. We are meeting our Wichita kids in KC on Saturday. Our GS has been with us since the middle of June and it is now time for him to go home. His Mom and Dad will meet us there in Westport for lunch. He really wanted to go camping but it is so dry that making a camp fire would be out and in his opinion, camping is all about making and sitting around the camp fire. Maybe next year... I do know that next year we will take the train to Chicago for a Cubs game. Maybe we can get tickets for the Cubs/Cardnials game? Wouldn't that be great? Have fun! Busy day

I have been busy all day long! I have a roast cooking in the crockpot and now it is time for me to get the potatoes and carrots going so that we can have dinner sometime tonight. I have no idea where all of the kids are but I learned a long time ago not to wait on them. They will show up when they are ready and not before! DH and I are having a birthday celebration for our son who lives with us and we will go on as planned!
