Nice day

I had such a nice day with my niece yesteday. We sit around and talked for a while then decided to go take in the town. We hit all of the stores and did a lot of shopping without buying anything except a great tasting Frappe! We even went to the resale shops then we decided to eat lunch. I had a wonderful salad! It was called The West Coast and it had grilled chicken, blue cheese crumbles, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, apple, Mandarin Oranges and mango on it. It looked nice and tasted so good, too! In the afternoon we went to the county museum and enjoyed that then by the time we were finished there it was time for me to return home. I even got home in time to fix DH's dinner!

Sounds a little like my day today. DH's Aunt and I went into town, hit the thrift stores (found a great shirt for DH) then had lunch at my favorite place on near the park downtown - Thyme Square. My hip was feeling much better today and I have had an extremely good day! I not only had my exercises done in good time but made a trip to town, too. I will be taking a day off tomorrow as I intend to go spend the day with my niece. Her birthday is next week and I want to go take her out to lunch. It's been hard to catch her at home this summer and she is getting ready to go again so I'd better do it while I can!

What is that? If I can get close to a routine these days, I am happy! I am done much sooner than I was yesterday but can't blame it on anyone else but me. I have been babying my hip today and it took a lot of resting to get through my exercising. I am wondering if we are in for a weather change. I hope so!

Yes, it's been that sort of day for me. DH has so much that he wants to do but then he requires me to go along. I love spending the time with him but generally after I do my exercise. Today I stopped twice to go into town with him then would start up again. Well, I am done, at last and ready to go anywhere, but wait, now I must fix dinner!

Another hot day

I am holed up in the house with the shades drawn hiding from this awful, hot weather! The weatherman dosen't give me much hope for the rest of the week, either. DH is on his days off starting tomorrow we had some things planned but they all required being outside. I am quite content to remain inside where it is cool!
