    I have the SparkPeople app on my Iphone and I find it very nice to use. Waiting for the Spark Activity tracker app to come out too.

Back again. Why did I ever leave?? It's been a bit and I SOOOO HAVE to get focused on my health. Even though I weigh a ton, I am blessed to have ZERO health issues other than the weight. So I MUST get this under control so that I can continue with healthy numbers the rest of my life. Drs are continually shocked that my blood pressure and cholesterol are perfect in spite of my weight. I don't want to play russian roulette with my health anymore.

    But the day will come. My oldest son had an emergency appendectomy (who plans THAT?) and his weight caused problems with the surgery. Like you, all his numbers are great, but you never know when it will catch up with you.

My brother just finished his first marathon. And his wife recently completely her first triathlon. HOW IN THE WORLD am I related to these people? Sheesh!! I surely wish their love of exercise would be contagious and I'd catch it!!

What's the secret to loving exercise? Does anyone know????

Oh dear. I saw a video of myself last night and HOLY COW am I HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what did I do about that today? Nothing. I sat around home and felt sorry for myself and ATE!! ACK!!!

I know what to do and yet I don't do it. Pathetic.

    Don't be so hard on yourself.. I look at wedding pics of myself and I get so grossed out.. and I'm heavier now then I was then. All we can do is keep going!! I get discouraged and want to eat, then I look at those pics (which are on my computer only cuz I don't want to look at them) and I kick myself in the butt. This November challenge (here on sparkpeople) has really brought out my competitive nature and makes me want to do more! Just remember why your on sparkpeople and reach out to friends for some support!
