I always use the Spark app on my iPhone to determine what I'm going to eat when I'm out. Last night we went to Denny's and were amazed by the amount of calories, fat. and carbs in their food. Though with some smart picking and portion control I stayed within my goals for the day and still had a good meal (with leftovers).

Tonight I'll burn extra calories on the dance floor! I'm really looking forward to that.

I've been invited to a Waffle Party on Sunday morning. I haven't decided if I'll have a waffle or not, or if want 1 or 2. I'm thinking 1 with nonfat whipped cream might be my limit, or maybe none at all. There will also be coffee and mimosas. I'm certain a cup of coffee will keep me from craving the waffles and the various toppings. Maybe I'll nutritious and filling breakfast before I go, so I won't even be tempted. That's seems like the smart thing to do. I really just want to see this group of friends that rarely gets together... I can resist the waffles.

    Just make sure you track it if you do decide to eat it. There are no bad foods....they just get that way when they pile on! Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I'm glad you're still going so that you can see your friends.

I want to lose weight so I can have a long and active life with the love of my life. We both want to be the best we can for ourselves and each other. She is the star that guides me through my workouts and the fuel that keeps my fires burning bright.

Also, I like it when she gives me naughty looks after I work out. :-)
