One Life - Very Very Good Today

Wore size 8 skirt today - with a proper fit of course :-)
Very excited about the progress I am seeing. Continued the usual regimen today; still a good bit to go before transitioning to maintenance phase of this program. But hard to imagine changing what I am doing since I am now used to THIS routine, which is great.

More work to do this evening but that's ok - still a great day!

The One Life Continues

I realize these are probably more than a bit boring to others, but as I've noted before, I am writing this for me (very few things I do just for me, but the entire SP experience is one of those.)

So, all of yesterday's goals were met, and the same goals for today. Scale holding steady - no gain, no loss. Clothes looser.

Attitude good. Work productivity extremely high. Navigating many potentially thorny things - not easily, but without major difficulty. Leadership breakfast in the morning; looking forward to the speaker. Then more work, cardio, dog walking, appt for repair of one car - more of my usual, satisfying life.

    Didn't find your blog boring, I can completely relate about sp experience being something you do for you, I feel the same way. Congrats on hitting your goals yesterday, isn't it great to feel the progress in the looser clothes. Keep up the great work!!

Today's One Life Goals

So for the day ahead - goals are: 10,000 steps; burn 300 calories doing cardio & dog walking; consume 1300 calories (already consumed 300 at breakfast); four important work projects; grocery shopping for the rest of this week; and leash reactivity class with rescue dog this evening.

One life - continued

Great day. Good work done. Cardio, weights done. Dog walking done. Networking lunch done. Executive women's dinner group - excellent. A 1300 calorie day (and satisfied.)

Feeling good. Committed. Happy. All of us can do this - one step at a time.

The only life I have - this one

To my surprise, I tried on a pair of sz 8 jeans last night and they FIT! So this is working. And the professional colleague I had lunch with on Friday emailed me yesterday to say 'whatever I am doing, it is clearly agreeing with me'. So, evidence mounts. This does work. And I am sticking with the program. Made 10,000 steps today by 2 - including one hour of cardio and a 1400 calorie day.

I find I am managing my schedule very differently & that feels good too (keyword = MY.)

Today's mantra: this is the only life I have. Making the healthy most of it is what counts.
