Saturday's activity

Saturday, January 21, 2012

So today's plan is to work out and burn at least 300 calories, go to the bank, have a pedicure and finish 4 major work projects before I start on tomorrow's deadline list. This makes me happy, with a movie tonight with my son and some reading.

I met my original weight goal of 129 pounds yesterday, so I am now aiming for 127.

I finished radiation treatment for breast cancer on Monday, and on Tuesday my primary care physician told me that I can now take a half of blood pressure med every day since my pressure is down to 104 over 70.

All good.

Keeping busy is the next thing

Thursday, January 19, 2012

Well continuing to keep busy this week, which is good... no more radiation treatment, and starting Tamoxifan next week... good thing to be so busy, my primary care physician said I'm in great shape and that he's of the mind that staying so busy is a good thing and I should continue being who I am :). I am feeling so fortunate, lucky - all good things.

That is super good news! Your doctor seems like he/she is encouraging and supportive and supports the idea of good health. Many doctors not so supportive.

I just love the energy of good feelings about you!

Oh, Happy Day!! I was SO glad when I was done with mine-- no more running up and down the road to the hospital every day, no more putting clothes on, taking clothes off, putting clothes on... It's a BIG step forward, in that journey. Go YOU!

Last day of radiation - finally

Monday, January 16, 2012

It seemed like a long time coming - and it was in the short term. Today was my last day of radiation treatment, and I am really glad. 35 treatment days is a long time when it is spread across 7 weeks (no treatment on weekends, holidays, and my travel days at times.)

Very glad to be moving to the next phase of treatment - Tamoxifan, and hoping to tolerate it as well as I did the radiation treatment.

Finished the day with a great client meeting tonight, and on to the next tomorrow - after a good night's sleep ahead.

I haven't a clue why you are taking these treatments, but I pray they have worked and that the next treatments..stage will make you healthy!

God bless you!

catching up after travel days

Sunday, January 15, 2012

2 days of business travel (Fri/Sat) has wreaked havoc on my keeping up with SP. Back home after a successful trip to facilitate a planning retreat, and recovering both my energy and my routine.

Plans for today include a long walk with the dog, a treadmill workout, some project work and watching late afternoon football game with my son.

All good! Tomorrow is last radiation treatment - very glad of that.
