I am committed to this program of weight loss and maintenance. 6 pounds to go to the goal, but it is starting to feel more realistic to me that it probably needs to be 10-12 more to meet overall health goals and effectively lower that A1C score into the 'low' end of the normal range. So I am mentally adjusting and will be consulting with the nutrition tracker today to see about the calorie adjustments that are needed. For me, the calorie vs. exercise amount ratio is critical, and it seems more difficult to calibrate this the more weight i have lost. (Had no weight issues until i was 45 so i still am learning about this, 7 years later - and having lost 20 lbs last year before finding SP.)
So... on to today. Plan for today: set up new pedometer; treadmill; business breakfast meeting; meetings until 3:00 then a few errands & more work to do. A few pressing things but overall a low stress day. A good thing.
No dog walking since it is pouring rain (maybe later if this stops). Dog not happy at moment :-)
