Well today is a good catch up day, after yesterday's day trip to another city to see a client. Had a meeting this morning out of the office, but before that got in a good 30 min walk with one dog, and after returning, took the other dog to the vet for his check up.

Seeing medical oncologist for the first time this afternoon, which is good. Need to meet her before my surgery on Friday (lumpectomy, breast cancer 3cm tumor.) Before that, have 2 conference calls & a few emails to send/respond to.

Having dinner with my executive women's dinner group tonight, which will be good.

Ah Monday

Well today I did a day trip by air to another city to meet with a client, and upon my return to my home city, had 2 conference calls. Now having dinner, then will do cardio.

Halfway through the day

Well the day is about half over... lunchtime. Have done a good bit of work this morning, and walked the dog, and about to have lunch. So good progress so far. Still need to complete cardio on treadmill, weights, and 4 more work items, along with grocery shopping & banking.

It's a beautiful fall Sunday, and am working on mental preparedness for surgery on Friday - lumpectomy. Fully expect radiation treatment of 4-6 weeks to follow healing after surgery. Anticipate significant disruption to my workout schedule, which is distressing, but I am thinking ahead about managing food/calories etc if exercise is seriously curtailed.

So, ready to complete some important work items this week before Friday, & continuing to be prepared.

Lots of sleep!

Got a great night's sleep, as in a lot (8.5 hours). Woke up feeling good - strong. That amount of sleep seems to be what I need all the time! Planning the day ahead: a good breakfast first, then walk with the dog, then cardio, errands, and some work projects. Excited about today's pace!

Looking forward to last meetings of the week today, and to catching up this weekend, both on household & work items. Feeling good, preparing for next Friday's outpatient surgery & am ready (I think). Doing weights & cardio this morning. Looking to burn 300 calories today!
