marathon day

Wednesday, September 07, 2011

well it's a work marathon today. am in new york city with clients, and facilitating a meeting all day followed by a conference call with another client then dinner with my nyc clients... heading home in the morning. Only cardio today will be a good 30 min walk to the meeting location from hotel, which will be a good way to start the day (in a few minutes.)

feeling good, feeling STRONG!

yesterday & today

Tuesday, September 06, 2011

well yesterday's weigh in was no gain/no loss... after a minor medical procedure this morning, I am now on my way out of town on business, with a client dinner this evening in another city & an all-day facilitation tomorrow, followed by yet another business dinner. Planned ahead and got cardio in on Sun-Mon-early this morning to make up for tomorrow's lack of a workout. Should be able to get a workout in on Thursday evening (return to my home base on Thursday morning, which is followed by meetings all day the rest of Thursday....)

Feel good about planning ahead, about staying within calorie range in spite of many meetings & out of town travel. And best of all, meeting/exceeding the weekly calorie burn goals!

I know that the last 5 pounds (which will make a total of 35 lost, mostly before finding SP) will be gone soon!

More on the last 5

Have not weighed yet this morning but planning to.... Hope to see movement! Yesterday was a great day, and have another planned for today - cardio, some weights, 4 work projects & some reading to catch up on. Then I will feel ready to tackle this week of meetings & activity.
Feeling calm, organized, in control of losing the last 5!

The last 5

Sunday, September 04, 2011

Previously I have noted that losing the 'last 10' was very difficult, and now, with 5 pounds to go until the goal, am feeling much the same way. No loss on the scale today - but no gain either. Will just continue, knowing that the scale is stubborn but it moves eventually.

Today's game plan is dog walking, cardio, weights, reading, and some work to do. Rain is supposed to arrive this afternoon & stay for 4 days, which we need.

Off to the day!

I have been trying to lose the last 5-7 lbs for what seems like forever. I lose one gain 2 the secret has to be consistency, my downfall is I tend to get off track and gain a few and then get back on track. Just stick with it, you know it will come off. Congrats on getting so very close you can most certainly taste the victory!!!! emoticon

A productive Saturday

Saturday, September 03, 2011

A relaxing day, organized my work this morning after a very busy week, then got my hair cut & colored, and did errands - about to make Coho salmon for dinner and catch up on some reading. The dog and I had a good walk this morning to start the day. Exceed my calorie burn goal for the week by more than 300 calories, which is too much. Need to re-calibrate again for the coming week... going to weigh in tomorrow morning and see where I am.

All good though. Lookng forward to a relaxing evening. Will need to focus on work again tomorrow after my morning workout.
