Sleep really helps

Saturday, February 26, 2011

Got a good night's sleep... much better today. Taking one of my rescue dogs for her canine good citizen exam this morning, then a walk with her, then cardio, then work to do... glad to have a whole day stretching ahead! Did not weigh this morning, think I will do tomorrow... I don't feel like i am losing weight at the moment so may need to change up the routine.

Feeling a bit worn tonight.... Exceptional week with work and still managed to get in the food & exercise... One of my dogs takes her canine good citizen exam tomorrow morning - hope she passes :-)

Back to usual

Thursday, February 24, 2011

After my business trip yesterday, back to the usual today: weight training early this morning, then first meeting @ 8:30, and back to back meetings all day. Managed to eat right anyway. Business dinner tonight. Then SLEEP. More tomorrow...

Travel Day

Wednesday, February 23, 2011

Out of town business trip today - very productive work with clients, and even managed a 2 mile walk in the park across from the office over lunchtime with one of the client staff - enjoyable! Back at the airport waiting for flight to head home. A good day: a bit of walking, food goals all met, excellent work. Happy.

Stasis

So no loss, but no gain.... and managing my own expectations of how fast I should lose these last few pounds is the main issue now. For me, sticking with the program as SP outlined it, following the challenges' instructions, and changing up the exercise routine is critical. Also balancing exercise with food intake (and the right kind of food intake) as in more exercise, need more calories so my body doesn't think we are in "starvation mode" and hang on to the remaining weight.

Today is a "weight training/dog walking" day but I may also put in some cardio just for good measure (and then eat 100 more calories!)

Lots of work to do... feeling fortunate on all fronts today.
