Well today I am trying to catch up from the busiest week I have had in a very long time. Spent the morning getting re-organized on the workload front, did a few simple things, took a nap, and generally re-grouping. Next week much better (at least I won't work 90 hours like last week, should be a more normal 60 hour week.)

I did lose a pound though. This is good.

  It's been pretty hot this week, I haven't had much time to do much either but tomorrow is a Sunday workout. That is always a great time. Great job on your pound and good luck with your 60 hour week next week.

Seem to need more sleep

With more exercise comes the need for more sleep, at least for me... Seems like 9 hours/night is about what I need each night so am adjusting because I feel so much better when I get that much rest...

So I spent 9.5 hours facilitating a client planning session, did errands on way home, and after dinner I need to go thru today's business email. Feel pretty good but cardio is not in the cards today, unless I get a major second wind in the next few minutes. Tomorrow is the same as today - but longer...

Having a plan

I try to have a game plan for each day... Today have a meeting all morning, then a 2 hour break to catch up on lunch, email, & other work, then a 90 minute meeting in late afternoon. After that, dog walk, cardio, weights before dinner. Meals are planned, snacks are going with me for mid morning & mid afternoon.

All set. Ready. Go.

    I have found that the days that I have planned especially the meals, snacks and exercise are so much more productive. When I wing it everything just becomes a muddled mess and at the end of the days I really do not feel like I have accomplished what I would have accomplished if I had just taken the time to do a little planning. Thanks for the blog!!! emoticon

Looking ahead to the day

Well weighed in, holding steady - no loss, no gain. These last 10 pounds are definitely the hardest! Getting ready to make breakfast, then a long dog walk, followed by treadmill cardio. Then work - lots to do but only one off site meeting this afternoon, which is good. Three conference calls in late afternoon. Painter is coming to finish the bathroom.
Lots going on, as always. Feel refreshed from the weekend, though - even though I did some work, I also rested and found time to relax. Amazing how many hours there really are in a day - it's all what we do with it!

Off to the day.

Back at it

Ok that was enough rest (yesterday.) Feeling better. Have usual cardio routine & dog walking & weight training planned for today, along with appropriate calorie intake, some important client work to do, the women's USA team playing soccer in the finals at 2:00, and must do grocery shopping for this coming week.

Plenty of hours ahead to get it all done. Feeling good.
