Feeling very motivated to get this right. No easy task with an autoimmune disease, intense medication for that & a really heavy work schedule. But over the past 2 years, I have gotten myself almost to where I was for most of my life - I am within 7 lbs of that average and 15 pounds from thinnest I ever was as an adult. I know it can be done; the formula of calories/exercise is just more complex for me - but not impossible.

On to the day!

Productivity Plus

Tuesday, July 05, 2011

Well today was first day of bathroom renovation.... that all went as scheduled, and I managed to do cardio, walk the dog, do weights, work a 10 hour day including a two hour afternoon face to face meeting, and have 2 conference calls. Ate 1329 calories today.

going to bed early - again!! I seem to do much better on 9 hours sleep than any other "number" for sleep time so that's what I'm going to start aiming for...

Holiday- more time for ME!

Monday, July 04, 2011

One more day to get everything in without going to meetings, having conference calls, etc. Planning a good long cardio workout this morning. And July 4th festivities-local parade, remembrance of why we celebrate. Healthy food planned, and later this afternoon it is going to storm so I will do some work prep for this week. And prep for bathroom renovation starting tomorrow, crew set to arrive between 9 & 10 am. Ready to have the last of the renovating finished - yeah!

I would really like to lose this last 10 pounds by the end of Sept. I think that's realistic for a timeframe. I may have to increase activity to do it as I know the eating is correct for now in terms of calories. Hard to get the balance right. Working & learning.

Good day planned for today... Long dog walk is next, followed by weights, cardio, a bit of work today, and catch up on reading (always alot to keep up in my field of work.)

Still feel optimistic despite the slow loss. Am still fitter & thinner than 8 lbs ago when I started with SparkPeople. (before that, I lost 25 on quick weight loss center plan, which changed the way I eat permanently - that loss took 9 months....)

Remembering where I was, after previously being my current goal weight my whole adult life, is important to this process. Feeling grateful!

Great Saturday so Far

Saturday, July 02, 2011

well had a great walk with the dog this morning (40 min, 109 calories burned). Heading to treadmill for more cardio next, and have organized today's activities so there's a game plan.

Weigh in was stable - no loss, no gain...
