Lots ahead today - work to do, cardio, dog walking, one dog needs to go to vet... Meals are planned. No movement on scale today. Will keep at it.

Keeping Up

Keeping up my commitment to a daily post... very long work day today - taught a 6 hour workshop at a law firm, then had a meeting after, then conference call. Finally, a good long dog walk and my cardio done on the treadmill. Dinner in the oven. Met all food goals for today, and am feeling very good.

Nothing witty or pithy, just consistency as recommended by SP....

Great day. Lots of work done & prepped for all-day governance workshop I am teaching tomorrow at a law firm. Dinner in oven (crab-stuffed salmon) and will make rice & green beans & salad to complete dinner.

Walked dog for 35 minutes, burned 220 calories on treadmill for 20 min, and did weight training today. Feeling good. Strong. More to come.

Adjustment Progress

Well I am down a 1/2 lb so I think the adjustments were the right ones... didn't get to post yesterday, really busy long work day but got in cardio & weights & dog walking as planned.

Today was equally packed with work but managed a dog walk early this morning. Will catch up on cardio (& do more weights) tomorrow. Food intake going well. Was supposed to have wine after work with 2 business colleagues, they cancelled because one got called out of town. Am kind of glad. Got to come home earlier than planned!

Feeling happier - learning to get the food-exercise ratio just right is so important for me - not just for weight loss but for overall health.

Going to remodel one of the bathrooms in my house - last room that hasn't been renovated in the past five years. Don't need one more thing to do but it's time to get it done.

Going to relax this evening, watch American Idol with my son!

Adjustments are in Order

So... today I did the same amount of cardio (370 calories burned) but ate 1600 calories, more than usual. We will see if that makes the scale start moving downward again. I am going to monitor carefully - I don't want any upward movement on that scale!

Very productive day with work, and had my rescue dog's final leash reactivity class early this evening (it's working - she took a nap during class.)

A few things left to do this evening, including battening down the hatches on the deck for a major storm we are expecting to blow in around midnight. Nothing like a southern storm!
