I realized that I have been with SP for three months - the time has flown by. One pound away from halfway point of goal. Moving slowly but inches have been lost. And new habits have been formed, all of which are good. I would like to drop 7 lbs by may 15, which seems doable.

Still struggle with the calibration of food and exercise due to elevated A1C, it seems complicated due to that factor.

Feel alot better. Committed to the lifestyle, however. And remain optimistic.

    Good for you...right attitude. I, too, am taking it slow but sure and steady. Though I've come close to a "stay-the-same" one week, I haven't had a single weight gain...yet. I know that it is inevitable, but as long as I can enjoy food the way I am now...track everything, I'm quite happy with the small gains. They have added up to 22 lbs. so far, and my original goal was for a year. I'm only 1/4 to goal, but I'm on track. keep on keepin' on!

Saturday - and more progress

Feeling good about the progress I am making with this lifestyle change. Just had a great long walk with the dog (dog very happy) and, even being a bit tired today, just reflecting on how the daily exercise is now just a part of the habit - as is eating less food, and being more intentional about all activities.

Now some work to do, and then dinner with good friends (and checking the restaurant menu to figure out what I will order before we even get there!)

Interesting Day - yet Progress Continues

Well I posted my last blog after midnight so it registered as today's entry - unusual for me. Usually have 8 hours sleep - only 5.5 last night due to work obligations. Still managed to get in 20 minutes of cardio today, and all work deadlines were met. Had very fulfilling conversations with clients today as well.

On we go to tomorrow. Going to sleep very well tonight, that is for certain.
