Plateau...?Tuesday, November 30, 2010
So, I've been very reluctant to say it, think it, admit it, let other people use the term....but I think after a month I might have to. I may have hit a dry spell. A wall. A ...plateau. ![]()

Hey lady! I'm on a 3 month plateau myself. I just hate it. But I realize it's because I'm getting a bit lax in my diet and then the exercise is not as regular because of all the holiday/end of year hub bub. Things happen. But here's what I always to do "restart." Hope it helps... **TO DO** Drink lots of water Brush teeth after meals (with a minty toothpaste) Take walks New Exercise DVD (mine is a 10 minute Winsor Pilates DVD) Motivate someone else, on Spark Look at/Put up inspirational pics and messages Add Jumping jacks routine Add Push ups routine **TO EAT when overeating or snacking badly:** (FYI...Peppermint is a natural appetite suppressant. Great for cravings and overeating.) Sugarfree mint Sugarfree mint gum Mint tea Peppermint tea Sugarfree hard candy Sugarfree jello (my fav - dark choc pudding) 1/2 bottle of 5 Hour Energy (for B vitamins, energy and sweet tooth) 1/2 Skinny Cow White MINT Truffle Ice Cream Bar, 50 cals (for sweet tooth) Report Inappropriate Comment |

GOAL MET! Do great on my history midterm!
For how confusing my teacher is when he lectures, I'm happy with my 88/100.
GOAL MET! Go for a bike ride
I forgot to pick something up on my way home one night, so rather than jumping back in the car, I got out my good friend Mr Bike and biked the 1 mile there and then 1 mile back from the drug store.
NOT MET! Use my bike trainer
GOAL MET! Go for a walk
Jaxson finally got his stitches out, he had surgery on his left back leg this time, so I took him for a nice 1+mile walk to get his crazies out
GOAL MET! Swim zumba!
I heart zumba!
GOAL MET HALFWAY! Log 3/7 days of eating
I logged 2/7 days so I'm trying to get back in the habit. I know logging my food and working out in the morning during these cold months are going to be my keys to success! I am still making good food choices and stay in a rhythm I think of how much to eat but I know how easy it is to let calorie amounts get away from you so logging is important!
We have been without our laptop for a bit, so its been hard doing everything from my blackberry or our ooollldddd slow desktop.

I believe I only got in the 5-600 minute range. School/work/weather is bringing me down! I must conquer!
GOAL MET! *Reach 180 pounds by 11/3/10
- weighed in this AM at 180.3 so I'm going to say Goal Met! This brings me to -69.7 currently!
I had set a bigger goal in July to be -75 lbs by now so at 175 however at the beginning of October I saw my pace has been slowing down so I knew that wasn't realistic.
November 1-7 Monday - Sunday
Work out in the morning once
Log food 3/7 times
Ride bike on trainer
November Goals:
Hit 600 fitness minutes
Reach 175lbs by 12/1/10
