I never ever seem to make my water quota for the day. I know I'm supposed to... but it just doesn't seem to happen. I was doing better with it when i would mix water with Crystal Light, but then I was taking in too much Aspartame and stalling. I've found some new Splenda powders to add to my water, but still get no where close to 8 glasses a day. I've noticed that I find it easier to drink lots of water when exercising, and when its really cold.
So here are my new strategies:
1) Keep bottles in the back of the fridge to keep them really really cold and maybe a few half full ones in the freezer.
2) When I am eating a meal, I will drink water with the meal. If I finish the glass of water, then I will let myself get a diet soda or diet lemonade etc.
3) I will put a sign on my fridge: Have you had your water today? And i will check off each water serving on the sign.
