Day 4, 5, and 6 - Sparkpeople 30 Days to More Fruit & Veggies Challenge

Wednesday, September 07, 2011

So far so good!

Made a smoothie, bought myself two sets of banana which was something I never thought about doing in the past. This saves on our trips to the store, because bananas are a staple in our household.

I didn't really try anything new from a recipe yesterday as it was one of our busy nights with our weekly Theocratic School & Service meeting. So today I'm going to finally cook up that spaghetti squash that's been sitting around. Not sure what I'm going to do, but I'm confident that the SP recipe database has some good stuff. I'll keep you all posted! emoticon

Day 2 & 3 - Sparkpeople 30 Days to More Fruit & Veggies Challenge

Saturday, September 03, 2011

Day Two & Three were a success. I enjoyed a salad with the suggested dried cranberries, and although I had a can of fruit in syrup I rinsed the fruit off with water.

What a marvelous idea! Looking forward to tomorrow's smoothies! emoticon

Anticipation for Two Weeks of activity

Wednesday, July 27, 2011

Only a few in this world will ever know what I'm talking about! It is one of the most anticipated two weeks of any FT worshiper of the Grand Creator. Therefore, I wouldn't expect a lot of people to understand what I'm talking about, but for those who share my love and conviction for Jehovah will know!

During a busy time in my life I'm still focused

Friday, May 27, 2011

Wow, what a difference a week makes. With family in town my house is busting at the seams. Which means full meals, no time for the gym, and no time for walks. My body yearns for a run, some exercise, some quiet time walking.

Just a few more days, then I can get back to my old schedule. I just hope I haven't sabotaged myself with all the eating out. The good thing is that although we're eating heavier foods, I'm not. I'm sticking with the program and being as creative as I can be with types of food we're eating, and watching my body's signal to let me know I'm full.
