Gaining weight?

SERIOUSLY?? Ok, so I started Zumba last Monday I did four days last week for an hour a piece so that was four hours last week and I've gone every day this week as well so that'll be 5 hours this week.....and I'm actually GAINING. What the crap? Ugh, so aggravated! I'm not eating more so I don't know. It sucks to work this hard and not have any results

    Hey Guys thanks for the comments. I am finally starting to lose. After I wrote this I had an episode with cysts on my ovaries. So some was from that. I also had blood work done for my hormones etc and my thyroid was low. BINGO!! Started taking thyroid meds about 2 weeks ago and I can already tell a difference yay! Now doing 5 days Zumba 1 day zumba toning

    Hang in there.....you are building muscle. You need to give your body a chance to adjust. Those muscles will burn lots of calories for you.

    Being a woman there are so very many reasons why the scale will go up despite our best efforts. Could be water weight from all the exercise you doing or your body is holding on to because you aren't drinking enough or salt has been high or hormones, oh the ideas are endless. Trying tweaking different things and see what you can find to be the trigger. It is all trial and error. Good luck.

  I have been doing Zumba for awhile and when I first started the same thing happened to me. What was happening is I was gaining muscle that wasn't there before, especially in my legs and I wasn't drinking enough water so my body was holding on to excess water weight. I was also only doing Zumba, when I started mixing other excersises and strength training with it I started seeing results.

Little Black dress challenge.....

So me and my BFF (of 19 years) are about the same with always having to deal with our weight. Her husband was recently stationed in OK so we don't see each other but we are planning New Years together. SO we made a "Little Black Dress Challenge" for ourselves. If there is one thing we both are it's competitive. SOOOOO 1 day down 67 to go. I'm gonna make 2013 a skinny year! Bring the challenge on!!!

    Thanks guys....it's crazy to be going through all this all over again. I got to my goal weight in 2007-2008. Then in 2009 had a baby....SURPRISE. Lost all the weight again.....then in 2012 we had our second and last and though this one was planned the weight is no where NEAR as easy to get off as the first. But I'll get there, I always do. I didn't enjoy not being able to wear a bikini this year so that outta be some good thinspiration.

If only Margaritas had 0 calories. Of course when you are pregnant you can't have a drink....as soon as you have the baby you want to lose the weight but you just went close to a year without being able to enjoy a cocktail....ah, just venting!!

Jogging Stroller

I ordered my double jogging stroller the other day!! SO ready to get out and about with the girls. Still gonna do P90X but with some running on the side just to get some extra cardio in there.

    Yay! It is a great way to work out with your kids! I have a double buggy and I run with my 23 mo old and my 6 mo old. Elizabeth loves her little brother and talks or sings to him the whole time we are out (until she falls asleep!). Sometimes we go to the local bike trail and I run with them while their big brother and sister bike along with us.

Bikes and joggers are great ways to get kids involved in your fitness and in fun outdoor activity! Good luck with your new buggy!

    Jogging strollers are nice I have a 3 yr old in preschool and a 1 yr 1 month old who's not walking yet w/ o assistance so on good days ill walk them in the stroller up a huge hill it'll be a good workout trust me :) congrats on your youngest by the way

Alright, so I am down a total of 20 lbs since baby (yeah, my weight has fluctuated majorly) and I am SO ready to get the rest off. As soon as the girls go down for a nap I am going to try and get some p90x in. Eating good and feeling good just gotta keep my eye on the goal!!
