It's A Beautiful Day!

Wow, I can't believe the sun is out and it's a beautiful day. We've had rain for the few days but felt like forever. I will try to enjoy the outdoors today. However, I work from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. emoticon

Not to fret, I will get a chance to enjoy some of today's beautiful weather. emoticon

American Idol's Final Three

I was a bit surprised of the final three. I thought Kris Allen was going to be voted out last night. I thought Allison had a better performance on Tuesday night than Kris. I think the final two will be Adam and Danny. Danny has never been in the bottom three. I wish the best to everyone. Break a leg everyone. emoticon

    I thought Kris could go home too. BUt from the start I KNEW the final two would be Adam and Danny. Adam has an unfair advantage in that he has been on Broadway and sung professionally already. My favorite is Danny - love that raspy voice!

    I totally agree. I was sure Kris was going to be voted out. I like him but his performance on Tuesday was weak. Allison's wasn't her best, but it was better than Kris's. With Allison gone, I think you're right about the final 2, and I will definitely be voting for Adam all the way. I can't imagine he won't win! He is AWESOME!! emoticon

School's Almost Out for the Summer

Today is the last day to work on my final project for school. I'm making ART from used tennis balls and cut up tennis strings. I've made a mosaic from the tennis balls and a pattern from the strings. The ART project is based on my passions and inspirations which are: tennis, health, and kindness of others and to others.

Another Dreary Day

It's cool and dreary day in Alexandria today. Well, that's okay. I am working from 4 PM to 11 PM so I won't have a chance to enjoy the outdoors too much. I will go to the gym soon and workout for 90+ minutes. After the gym, I need to go grocery shopping. It could have been nice if the sun comes out for a little while I'm out and about. emoticon

Today is My Lucky Day

Today was my lucky day as I had planned two meetings with two different advisors. One at 10:00 AM and the second one at 11:30 AM. I arrived at my 10:00 AM meeting at 9:55 AM and waited for my advisor. Finally around 10:26 AM another advisor walked down the hallway where I was waiting and asked me who I was waiting for. He proceeded to tell me that the advisor I was waiting for is out for personal reasons with no return date and that he would help me. YEAH! emoticon He helped me and now I'm waiting to meet my second advisor. Once these meetings are done, I can proceed to register for my Fall '09 semester.
