I can't believe it. It took me 17 years to finally win a set (in singles) from my very good friend and excellent tennis player Michael. I won the first set 6-4 and then lost the next two sets 6-1, 6-0. I think he restored order. We were at 5-3 with Michael serving for the fourth set when the bell rang. Yup, we ran out of time. I played fairly well in all sets. All the games were close. It's just Michael plays the bigger points better than me. Afterwards, we went to dinner at the Daily Grill. I don't recommend this restaurant because the plates are too large and the calories count are way too high. I had blacken tilapia with spinach mashed potatoes. 854 calories! We shared appetizers and that was good. Otherwise, it would have been another 665 and 526 calories. Since this dinner was to celebrate two things -- my birthday and Michael and Rob's move to the new office, hubby and I shared a slice of the double chocolate layer cake. I ate a third of the slice and that was over 400 calories. The entire slice is 1,271 calories. Yikes!!
Today, I must do some extra cardio to burn off yesterday's indulgence.
