Hi all! A week and a half ago, I had a really bad cold and some abdominal pain. Between last Friday and today, I have had one ultrasound, two MRI's, one CT Scan, and a Tagged RBC Scan. I have given what seems like pints of blood and I have been injected with radioactive solution at least twice. A week ago, my doctor thought I had a problem with my gallbladder, but instead she found two tumors in my liver. I am so fearful of them being cancerous, but I am trying to remain positive while I wait for results. My physician and my specialist both scared me when they asked if I had any recent weightloss. I am very sensitive, so of course I lost it and cried uncontrollably in the doctors' offices. I told them that I had started trying to lose weight in April this year and had hit a plateau at 182 for the last two months. They tried to reassure me that it seemed fine because the weight had been lost over time. I started at 200 lbs. in April and today I weigh 173. Is there anyone out there who has had trouble with the liver, tumors, etc? I would really appreciate some insight. It so hard to wait.
