I went to a dollar store on my way home frome the gym today to get some cottage cheese. I went to the cooler area and bought eggs, milk, cookies, cauliflower, and yogurt. They didn't have any cauliflower. ![]()

I know about going into a store for vegetables and coming out with ice cream or Chips Ahoy double fudge chocolate chip cookies, but unlike me you were able to eat just one, congratulations!

Hey! You ate just ONE. That is great! Personally a little bit of sweet is required for me to lose weight. If I don't give myself a little bit of wiggle room It doesnt feel like life to me it feels like prison.

I do a crazy thing where I buy something I shouldn't be eating and I put it in easy reach and torture myself with it. I made beautiful chocolate chip cookies and left them on the counter to see how many I would eat. I ate 2 in 3 days, which wasn't that bad IMHO so I let my husband eat the other 4. (At one time I would have eaten all 6 immediately, straight from the pan!)

Ok, so as I said, I am still here. I have not worked out for about a week now. My eating has been OK for the week but I did have some moments of "lapse" I have gained about 3 pounds. Not bad.
Usually my workout routine goes like this. I go to the gym almost everyday and sometimes it is literally everyday. I get addicted to it. When I don't go, I really miss it and feel it. But, if I miss about 4 days in a row, it turns into about 6 months.
I will say that I probably will not go today but tomorrow I am back at it. I have to keep up because in the coming months, I will be back in tax school and then tax season
So, I can't let myself get behind the 8 ball now.
Back to the gym I go and also stop eating out with certain people.

Yup...I pulled a muscle last week...then went back to exercise only to have it come back bigger and badder! I rested all weekend and today..but I HAVE to get back in there tomrrow...Oh also found out it;s not a muscle it's a LIGAMENT...didn;t know we HAD those in our hineys! (bugeyed) COMpletely sux! But I am getting back in ther no matter what for the BL challenge

I feel the same way and have been having a similar problem. I get gung-ho on being "perfect" and following the program and one candy bar later, I have given in and am on a steep downhill slide until the next time I can get a grip and be "perfect" again. I have been doing well with exercise because I love working out at Curves and force myself to walk to class since I didn't buy a parking pass, but eating is a huge problem. I have recommited, but still struggle. Good luck to you on your journey and hopefully we can both make this work!
