I slept in (until 7:30, I'm usually up by 4:30). I missed my water aerobics class but decided it is just as well as the bouncing in the shallow end of the pool just would be a killer on my feet today. I am going to do solo water aerobics at the deep end. I spent 3 hours in the pool doing exercises this week and today will be the 4th hour. I know it helps and I have to do it or I will build up scar tissue in my knees.
I went to hand therapy yesterday and have to work on scar massage from my Dec 29th CTR and trigger thumb release surgeries. I also have some exercises to do to get strength back in my hand and though hand exercises don't sound like much work my muscles are weak and lazy from taking it easy for 2 months.
I have decided as far as getting the other hand surgery done on the left it is just as well to wait because I need "one pretty good hand" in order to work, drive, etc. So that will probably not be until 2011.
And the same goes for getting the second knee replacement...(has to wait) and perhaps it is part of some "divine plan" that I can't have it right away. I have had sore knees for about 20 years, what's one more?
