It did not turn out as I had planned, but I did get to the health club (gym) three times this week. I went on Monday to swim, Thursday and walked on treadmill for 45 minutes and today, Saturday I treadmilled for 45 minutes AND swam for 30 minutes, for a grand total of 150 minutes of exercising. I know I can go to the gym regularly at least three times a week. I will leave my goal at that for now and see if I can do it for 3 weeks or so before trying to increase it. I also did not eat any ice cream yesterday or today. After work, the McDonald's in the hospital (????!!!!) where I work has 50 cent cones, so it talkes a lot of willpower to keep on walking instead of turning into that place and indulging one of my biggest diet temptations. On Friday, I had an apple left over from lunch to eat on my way home. I will definitely carry healthy snacks and stay out of McDonalds this week.
