I often throughout my life wondered if I would live long. Well, here I am and relatively healthy overall. My father died at 38 of heart attack with "hardening of the arteries" They said he had the arteries of an 80-year-old man. That was over 66 years ago. (The math says I was born a semi-orphan...and I was.)
My mother probably could have lived longer than her 72 years but refused to go to the doctor and I believe she died of pneumonia.
One sister died at 72 but had multiple health problems and lived over 10 years in a nursing home. The other sister died at 75 and died from complications of withdrawal from pain kilers for arthritis pain in her back (her kidneys shut down).
Considering the fact that none of my medications are narcotic drugs and I don't have all the illnesses my two sisters had, I may live 20 more years.
To make sure my bones get stronger I am starting a morning walking program this morning.
Gotta go get on that treadmill for a minimum of 20 minutes today. My last speed on the treadmill was 2.5 miles perhour.
Had a healthy breakfast of boiled tomato with lox on brown rice nongluten and no yeast bread washed down with Cafix "coffee" with rice milk and stevia to jazz it up. Reports on walking program tomorrow.
