First thing I will do when I am done with my physical assessment at the gym is get some "joe" and eat a non-gluten bar.
I did take my prescriptions and vitamins with a sip of water except for the fish oil.
I had to set my alarm for 7:00 this morning or I would still be "sawing wood."
After the gym, I need to shop for some new cross trainer shoes. My 2 pair of Nikis are worn out and my feet have been killing me lately. I went to a regular shoe store and nothing fit so am going to a store that specializes in orthopedic and hard to fit feet. I will be surprised if I can get anything for under $100. I do have my custom orthotics which were ordered by my foot orthopedic specialist a coiuple of years ago. She said they should last a long time and I hope they are not the reason my feet have hurt lately. She diagnosed accessory naviculars in both feet (an extra bone in the arch area). I also have plantar fasciitis which hasn't bothered me until recently. I hope the new shoes help my foot pain. If not, I will have to go see the foot orthopedic doctor again.
The problem I had at the shoe store is that I have a medium forefoot but extra narrow heels. I tried on sizes 11 women (their largest size, but those seemed tight but that is the size I have that wore out (maybe they stretched). I also tried mens size 10 but they were way too big in the heels. Hope I find something today as I just hate having painful feet. It also affects my knees and back when I walk differently because of painful feet.
