We are going to the vet with our 12=y-o 16-lb cat. Maybe he is just overweight? Haven't really weighed him in awhile but he doesn't look fat. He has been "marking" things more than usual which is a nuisance.

Right now, Puff, is the main thing on my mind. If anything happened to Puff my husband would be impossible to live with. He is upset that I just want to bring him to the vet (the cat).

Stuffing envelopes lasted only 2 hours or so yesterday. Today it might be longer. It is a mindless task but at least it is a job.

I have been given a couple of small tasks in addition to my regular tasks and I certainly have enough to keep me out of trouble.

I had to stay late yesterday cause I was late getting to work in morning. Today I plan to leave plenty early so I won't have to do that again. I often have dreams of being late for school (back in grade school trying to get there by 9:00. Those dreams are often mixed up with people from my whole life and last night was no exception.

MRI scan went well...

The technician said she wished she could scan me all day and was happy no views had to be redone. It still was about 35 minutes in the machine. I probably won't get any results for about a week but the technician said to call the doctor who ordered the scan to find out if they got results. The first time I was tested (4 years ago with an EUS, esophagogastroduodenoscopy, and biopsy) I didn't get the results for 2 weeks. Hopefully, the results will be good again.

I get nervous about cysts on the pancreas cause I know they are watching for possible development of growth and possible cancer.

Making money stuffing envelopes....???

Tomorrow morning at this time I will be at my cubicle happily stuffing envelopes. (Who said you can't make money stuffing envelopes?)



Yesterday's postop check went well. Found out there is a 3-inch piece of mesh behind my muscles above and below the umbilicus. Surgery scar is pretty much healed (has disolvable stitches inside). I am still supposed to take it easy with exercise so as to not get a hernia there again. Eventually it should be good as new.

Today I just had my breakfast and the MRI is in 4 hours so just finished coffee, puffed millet and banana with goat milk. I decided to take my pills with me so I could have them before lunch. Am bringing husband with and we are going to lunch after the MRI. I am looking forward to peel and eat shrimp and possibly a beet salad. He always eats the raw oysters when we go to that restaurant. Trying not to worry about the MRI. Last time I was in that machine they had to give me oxygen and a sedative. Hopefully this time I will be more relaxed.
